Meet Lucy!

Hello! My name is Lucy and I’m really excited to introduce myself as the new Recruitment

Lead for Students4Students.

I first started volunteering with Students4Students last year, as the recruitment officer for the Durham branch where I’m currently studying for my degree in Education. Although it was certainly a different year, with interviews all conducted via video calls, and never being able to meet my fellow committee members in person, I still really enjoyed being able to recruit tutors from a hugely talented group of students. It was so rewarding to see how many of my peers were willing to give up their time as volunteers, and to then watch as they actively helped local pupils in the community,

In my new role I will be helping train and look after all three of our recruitment officers - as well as equipping them with the skills they need to fulfill their role and supporting their welfare, I am focused on tightening up our recruitment process, making it as smooth and efficient as possible, especially the new recruitment app!

I’m really excited to get going, and I know that our fantastic set of recruitment officers are going to do a great job in the upcoming year!
